The Parade starts at the Electric Workshop in the Newtown Cultural Precinct. Bezuidenhout Street will be blocked off, the floats will line up in adesignated area.
- The Parade will proceed down Bezuidenhout Street
- left into President Street
- left into Kruis Street
- right into Pritchard Street
- left into Troye Street
- The parade will be parked on Twist Street between Pretoria and Kotze for a memorial to all those whose lost the struggle against HIV/AIDS.
- The Parade will then continue right into Pretoria Street
- right into Claim Street
- right into Wolmarans Street
- left into Harrison
- right into Jeppe Street
- to end at the Electric Workshop, where it willculminate in the Mardi Gras.
The total distance is 6.3 kilometers, with a 5 minute stop in Hillbrow forthe
HIV/AIDS memorial stop.
The Parade will be led by the Pride Squad, followed by the women's contingent, and people living with HIV/AIDS. The rest of the parade follows.
