The following programme has been envisaged:

Saturday, 28 October 2000

• 08h00: The infrastructure in the Parade venue is to be ready
• 09h00: The Parade venue opens to the general public.
  The Food Stalls open
• 10h00: The Beer Tent opens
• 11h00: Formal opening with speeches
• 13h30: Floats to be in place:
  Traffic Department to seal off roads surrounding the Heartland venue, as well as the roads to be used for the Parade
• 14h30: Start of the 11th Annual PRIDE Parade
• 16h30: Parade returns to the starting point
  - Allow the participants and guests to mingle
  - Live bands and music to attract people to the beer tent
  - Fun events and judging of the competitions
• 19h00: Closure of the Parade venue
  Opening of the Heartland venue for the start of the 2nd Annual After-Party, Street Carnival and Mardi Gras

Sunday, 29 October 2000

• 09h00: PRIDE 2000 ends, traffic department to open the roads surrounding the Heartland venue.
