The PRIDE Committee is a community based organisation, that believes in transparency and accountability. As such, we would like to share our aims and objectives, as an organisation, with you:

• Organise an annual public event, to celebrate and strengthen the PRIDE that members of the Lesbian; Gay; Bisexual; and Transgendered communities have in themselves, their diversities and their cultures.
• Create a platform for all members of the Lesbian; Gay; Bisexual; and Transgendered community to celebrate their sexual orientation with PRIDE.
• Unite the community under the slogan "Celebrate for Unity".
• Create opportunities for and within the Lesbian; Gay; Bisexual; and Transgendered community to participate in PRIDE.
• Include ' historically disadvantaged communities within our community, including womyn; people of colour; people living HIV/AIDS; people living with disabilities the youth and the elderly.
