The Pride Committee shall consist of two independent sub committees. These shall be the Board of Trustees, which shall be responsible for managing the Pride Trust and serve as the political structure of the Committee, and an Organising Committee which shall be responsible for organising the annual Pride Events.

7.1				Board of Trustees
	7.1.1				Members The Board of Trustees shall consist of seven members from within the LGBT community.
		7.1.1.1				At least one ordinary member shall have served on a previous Pride Committee.
		7.1.1.2				The Board of Trustees shall include the co-chairs of the incumbentorganising Committee.
	7.1.2				7.1.2 Appointment/Election of the Board of Trustees
		7.1.2.1				The appointment of new members of the Board of Trustees shall occur when existing members resign from their positions.
		7.1.2.2				The appointment of new members shall be by consensus of the existing Board of Trustees.
	7.1.3				Function
		7.1.3.1				The Board of Trustees shall be the founding members of the Pride Trust, which shall be established to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Pride Event.
		7.1.3.2				The Board of Trustees shall determine the political and policy direction of Pride.
		7.1.3.3				The Board of Trustees shall advise the organising Committee in regard to legal, financial and political issues, assist in conflict resolution, implement disciplinary procedures, and act as a final arbiter in the event of conflict in the Organising Committee.
7.2				Organising Committee
	7.2.1				Members
		7.2.1.1				The organising Committee shall consist of volunteers that have been elected into positions.
		7.2.1.2				The Organising Committee shall be representative and inclusive of the community and be gender and colour representative.
		7.2.1.3				The Organising Committee shall consist of two co-chair persons who shall act as facilitators of the Organising Committee.
		7.2.1.4				The Committee may create commissions, that shall be responsible for organising the various aspects of the Annual Pride Event. These commissions shall be headed by facilitators, who shall report back to the co-chair persons.
	7.2.2				Functions The function of the organising Committee is to organise the Annual Pride event and/or other events. The function of each portfolio of the organising committee shall be laid down in work plans and job descriptions. The organogram representing the structure of the committee is attached to Addendum 3.
